VaporTech's Service Department Manager will build and lead a team responsible for factory service/troubleshooting and field service globally for our physical vapor deposition (PVD) equipment. This equipment is used to advanced functional and decorative coatings to a broad range of industrial and consumer products. Responsibilities:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction Successfully coordinate all new equipment installations globally Organize service department staff to quickly to all incoming service requests Manage all field service activity globally Approve proposals for upgrades of existing equipment Manage the team's use of the TeamSupport service application and use this collaborative tool to manage customer interactions Monitor key metrics to improve team efficiency and the customer experience. Actively manage the service business budget and work with senior management to set service product growth targets and allocate required resources in future years Coordinate closely with sales to identify potential new equipment or aftermarket sales opportunities Coordinate with marketing and other departments to improve product documentation including manuals, application notes, service bulletins, pre-installation guides, installation/qualification checklists, etc. Develop, train, and mentor existing and new employees Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college At least 5 years in a customer service or service related position with direct reports Experience interacting directly with customers in industrial markets Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability and willingness to occasionally travel globally (estimated 5%) Desired Skills and

Service related experience in manufacturing equipment or other industrial products Compensation:
$90,000 - $115,000 base salary plus profit sharing and annual bonus potential
Salary Range:
$80K -- $150K
