Electrician Journey Person

REQUIREMENTS:
Prepares sketches showing location of wiring and equipment or follows diagrams or blueprints insuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit using such tools as a hacksaw, pipe threader, tape measure and conduit benders Pulls wiring through conduit, assisted by helper Splices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads with knife or pliers, twisting or soldering wires together and applying tape or terminal caps Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment using hand tools Installs control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays and circuit- breaker panels, and fastens in place with screws or bolts using hand or power tools Knowledge of certain procedures such as LOTO Connects power cables to equipment and installs grounding leads Test continuity of circuit to insure electrical compatibility and safety of components using testing instruments such as ohmmeter, battery and buzzer and oscilloscope Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement Disassembles and repairs defective electrical equipment or systems Load, transport and unload material, tools, equipment and supplies Maintains tools and equipment Be able to distinguish colors
Qualifications:
May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job Works under immediate supervision Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment Must have experience in the field Must meet all CO Licensing requirements for Journeyman Electrician Must currently have a CO journeyman license or hold a license in a state that reciprocates with ND Registration is required within 6 months of employment Must have a minimum of 4 years of work experience High School Diploma or GED required for school with emphasis on good mathematical skills Valid, clean driver's license Formal documented craft training in the Electrical field Have basic hand tools Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas May be required, on occasion, to work up to 16 hours in a single shift Must be able to climb and maintain balance on stairs, ladders, scaffolds and steel framework Follow the rules of safe conduct at all times Recommended Skills Blueprinting Cladding (Construction) Confined Spaces Drawing Electrical Installation Work Electrical Switchgear Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
