A client in Longmont, CO is looking for a part time PACU RN to work in their Post Anesthesia unit.
This person is responsible for patients who have just gotten out of surgery and are recovering from the effects of anesthesia.
They will monitor and record patient vital signs as well as monitor patient's level of consciousness throughout sedation recovery.
They will also perform post-operative tasks, such as administering medication or changing dressings.
This unit is cross trainable and they are looking for someone who is flexible with learning pre op and post anesthesia if not already trained in both.
There are 23 people in the entire unit.
All are permanent employees and not travel employees which is a huge plus for the permanent culture there! Previous PACU is preferred, but open to just RNs with past critical care experience instead o At least one year of RN experience o Bachelors or Associates Degree in Nursing o RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact Colorado Only:
RNs working in Colorado under a multi-state license must obtain their CO RN license within 30 days of establishing residency, i.

Compact to Compact.
Upon issuance of a new multistate license, the former license is inactivatedBLS from the American Heart Association required Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Basic Life Support Critical Care Diploma In Nursing Nursing Anesthesias Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
